I found a wonderful list of artist birthdays on this site. Each birthday connects to some teaching ideas, things to do for that particularly artist and their Wiki page. Look at this enormous class mosaic that the children worked on individually to make an incredibly powerful mural which was later displayed in a local shop. What a great idea! Have a go!
